Park Tips

Eating smart in the parks, like a pro

Everything you need to bring your Bombonella’s meals into Disney World and Universal Orlando — rules, locker prices, and the calmest spots to eat.

Our #1 tip

The locker trick

  1. Arrive with your cooler packed with your Bombonella’s meals and frozen ice packs.
  2. Rent a locker at the park entrance first thing in the morning — first-come, first-served, so go early on busy days.
  3. Stash the cooler and enjoy the park hands-free.
  4. Come back when you’re hungry — lockers allow unlimited in-and-out access all day.

A $10–$15 locker replaces $60+ in quick-service lunches for a family of four. Best money you’ll spend all day.

Bringing your own cooler? Know the size rules

Parks welcome outside food, but coolers have limits:

Disney World (all 4 parks)

Max 24" long × 15" wide × 18" high. Soft-sided recommended.

Universal Orlando

Small soft-sided coolers only — lunchbox-size. Larger coolers must go in an entrance locker.

  • No loose ice and no dry ice at any park — frozen reusable ice packs are the approved option (we sell them pre-frozen).
  • No glass containers — all our packaging is park-safe.
  • Soft-sided beats hard-sided: lighter to carry and easier to fit in a locker.
  • Our foldable cooler is sized to fit Disney’s large lockers and Universal’s family lockers.

Alcohol can’t be brought in anywhere. Rules current as of mid-2026 — check park websites before your trip.

Check your fridge space before ordering

Your meals need to stay chilled between delivery and park days:

  • Hotel rooms: most Disney & Universal rooms have a mini-fridge. It comfortably holds about 1 day of meals for 4 people plus ice packs.
  • Airbnbs & vacation homes: usually a full-size fridge — plenty of room for a multi-day order. Confirm with your host that it will be empty and running.
  • Ordering for many days? If fridge space is tight, add extra delivery days at checkout — we bring food fresh in smaller batches.
  • Freezer bonus: use the freezer compartment overnight to re-freeze your ice packs for the next park day.

Rule of thumb: 1 day × 4 people × 2 meals ≈ one mini-fridge shelf. Count your shelves before you order big.

Courtesy tip: indoor quick-service seating is for everyone, but be considerate at peak meal rush — off-peak (11am or 2pm+) is easiest.
